Taking another trip to the Old Mill in North Little Rock, Arkansas, after about two days of rain, I found the numerous little waterfalls were really flowing. I came upon this scene in which I could include a waterfall as a foreground element with the Old Mill in the background and some midground greenery. To smooth the water flow, I needed to use a long shutter speed. Choosing an aperture of f/32 and an ISO of 100 gave me a 2.5 second shutter speed given the lighting conditions. With a shutter speed this slow, the slightest breeze will cause leaves and plants to sway causing them to blur in the image. Fortunately, there was no wind, so the leaves and plants remained in sharp focus.
